This is very close to being a full news broadcast from WTVC Channel 9 in Chattanooga Tennessee, US. Complete with commercials. It appears to have been recorded using a VCR, and this is before the days of cable or sattelite television, thus the reception quality is poor.

A blast from the past.
I live in Chattanooga and did then. Things have changed since then but two of the three news anchors are still with TV 9.

WTVC: A window into 70s TN
I reside in middle TN so I never got to see WTVC, but I so greatly enjoyed this. The way tv graphics looked. The clothes, the hair, and the furniture commercials all bring back memories of how people talked and looked when I was growing up. The news announcers seemed genuine...I miss that.
